Rio Ferdinand has criticized the effectiveness of Manchester United’s winger Antony, saying that he “can’t beat anyone” on the field in the team’s loss to Arsenal on Sunday.
Antony was playing for Manchester United in his first campaign at old Stratford.
The 22-year-old once again failed to make a significant impression for his new team and was eventually taken out of the game in the second half because he was unable to make a difference in the action.
During an appearance on his program FIVE, Rio Ferdinand blasted the Brazilian player, stating that he is not playing anything near the level of football that he did at Ajax and that led to United spending £86 million to get him.
