After making a move to fill the vacuum left by Aidan Keena, Sligo Rovers believe they have acquired a forward of “incredible skill.” Before
Stefan Radosavljevic, a current Faroe Islands international who was born in Serbia, has signed a two-year contract with the Bit O’Red after playing for HB Torshavn.
In 145 games in the Faroese top division since 2017, he has scored 44 goals and contributed 20 assists.
After losing Keena to Cheltenham Town, Sligo Rovers manager John Russell was eager to add more strikers to his team.

Russell remarked, “Since Stefan and I have been in communication for a couple of months, I’m thrilled that he has chosen to sign with Sligo Rovers.”
“Stefan is a talented player. He is an offensive player who can fill the No. 9 or No. 10 position.”
“I know from our chats that he is a contemporary Faroese international and that he is motivated and focused on achieving.”
“He matches the description of the kind of player we want to sign, and I believe our supporters will appreciate seeing him play.”
In November, Radosavljevic made his Serbian debut in a cordial loss to the Czech Republic before scoring three days later in a tie with Kosovo.
He could start every game in a pre-season friendly after debuting against Finn Harps as the Bit O’Red sharpens its skills in preparation for the league starts against Shamrock Rovers at home the following weekend.
Radosavljevic expressed his happiness at being present. I am eagerly anticipating the commencement of the 2023 campaign.
