On the upcoming Wednesday night, two European giants Porto and Barcelona are slated to face off in the second game of Group H in the Champions League group stage at the Estadio Do Dragao.
Porto, coming off a potential title-deciding 0-1 defeat against Benfica in the Primeira Liga, had a seven-game unbeaten streak prior to the loss, winning six and drawing one.
Their recent record in the UEFA Champions League has been impressive, as they have won five of their last seven games in the competition, including a 3-1 win against Shakhtar Donetsk in their Group H opener.
Porto has remained unbeaten in their last three home games in the competition, recording two wins and a draw, with a solid defensive record, having conceded only one goal in their three unbeaten games.
Champions League Group Stage, Barcelona form
Barcelona, on the other hand, is on a nine-game unbeaten run in all competitions, having recorded seven wins and two draws this season. The Catalan giants warmed up for the clash with a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Sevilla in La Liga.
Barcelona kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 5-0 home win against Royal Antwerp. While they have won back-to-back games in the competition, they have only won two of their last six games in the Champions League.
Their away form has also been poor, losing three of their last four away games in the competition, and failing to score in any of their defeats.
