According to recent reports, Saïd Benrahma is set to join Olympique Lyon on loan from West Ham.
The agreement has been completed and both clubs are currently exchanging documents.
As per the deal, OL will pay a loan fee of €5m to West Ham, along with a buy clause worth €12m which is set to be activated in June.
It is worth noting that West Ham rejected a loan proposal from Fulham earlier today, thus clearing the way for Benrahma’s move to OL.
The talented winger has been in impressive form for the Hammers this season, having scored two goals and provided five assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.
Said Benrahma joined West Ham United in October 2020 from Brentford for a reported fee of £25 million.
Since joining West Ham, Benrahma has made 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring 1 goal and providing 6 assists.
Although he hasn’t had the most prolific start to his West Ham career, he has shown flashes of his potential and has been a valuable member of the squad.
