Arsenal v Manchester City highlights, Community Shield results 1:1, Arsenal won 4-1

The Community Shield is always a game to mark on the calendar since it marks the beginning of the men’s top game in England. At Wembley, the reigning Premier League champions Manchester City and last year’s runners-up Arsenal will square off for the inaugural trophy of the new season.

This summer, Mikel Arteta bolstered his team with players like Declan Rice and Kai Havertz, and Mateo Kovacic switched from Chelsea to Man City to take Ilkay Gundogan’s position.

Even though it’s not often a match that predicts the results of the upcoming season, it’s nonetheless an interesting chance to assess where these teams are before the first game of the 2023–24 league the following term.
